Hi, my name is Carly. I lived in inner-city Brisbane for most of my adult life, working in the health industry but I found myself regularly craving a slower, simpler approach to life (I blame this on my upbringing in a small central QLD country town).

Fringe & Fodder for me was a pursuit of, as gentler a way of life as possible while I lived inner-city. I found this mostly came down to access to local handmade, goods and small-scale food prepared through traditional production processes as close to the source as possible….gathered, foraged, preserved.

Recently I’ve been lucky enough to make a move to a regional centre in the Northern Rivers region of NSW where my pursuit of a gentler pace of life continues.
